Funeral services for William Ruser, 69, were held at Aurora, Colo., April 24, with burial in Aurora. Mr. Ruser died April 22 at the Rocky Mountain Osteopathic hospital in Denver, Colo., after an illness of 2 weeks.

A native of Bennett, where he attended school, he farmed most of his life near Bennett and Tipton, moving from Bennett to Davenport in 1940, where he was employed by the International Harvester Company at Rock Island, Ill.

He moved to Aurora, Colo., in 1953 and managed an apartment house at the time of his death.

He was married to Minnie Schlueter Aug. 9, 1924 in Cedar Rapids. She died Sept., 7, 1961 in Aurora.

He was a member of the Presbyterian church and Aurora Lodge 156, A.F. & A.M. He was also a veteran of World War I, having served in France.

He is survived by 2 children, Mrs. Beverly Johnston, Aurora, Colo., and Mrs. Ruth Madara, Rock Island, Ill.; 2 brothers, John and Henry, Davenport; a sisters, Mrs. Anna Roelk, Cedar Rapids and 3 grandchildren.
