Graveside rites were held in the Lowden Cemetery March 30 for Mrs. Anna Boettger, 87, Clinton, a former Lowden resident. She died March 27 in Jane Lamb hospital, Clinton, where she had been a patient for a month.

Pallbearers were LeRoy Boettger, Edward and David Conrad, Edgar Hubert and Wilson Richmann, nephews of the deceased.

Mrs. Boettger was born Feb. 5, 1876 in Cedar county, the daughter of William and Amalia Laumeier Richmann. She was married June 4, 1902 to Charles C. Boettger in Lowden. He preceded her in death in 1949. They lived in Lowden, then moved to Durant and later to Clinton. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church, Clinton.

She is survived by a daughter, Maxine, at home; one sister, Emma Richmann, Lowden and a number of nieces and nephews. Her husband, one sister and 2 brothers preceded her in death.
