Services for Mrs. Kathryn Stiff Christian, who died Sunday at the home of Mrs. Maggie Smith, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Sheets and Dahn funeral home. Gordon Smith of Clarence will officiate.

Pallbearers are Mearl Christian, Warren Christian, Norman Ford, Alfred Williams, Ivan Stiff and Gilbert Leinbaugh. Mrs. Richard Anderson will be vocalist and Mrs. Irma Crawford will be organist. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Stiff will be in charge of flowers. Interment will be in the Rochester cemetery.

Mrs. Christian was born Jan. 17, 1880 in Johnson county, the daughter of John C. and Margaret Ratchford Stiff. She was married to Phillip Christian. She was a housewife and spent most of her life in Cedar county. She has made her home with Mrs. Maggie Smith in Tipton for the past four years.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Veno (Fern) Rix, Lowden and Mrs. Harley (Margaret) Gamber, Florida; one brother, Otto Stiff, Bennett and 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, three sons, Paul, Bert and Lee and 10 brothers and sisters.
