Funeral services for Harold (Harry) Hoon, 73, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home. The Rev. A. C. Long will be in charge. Mrs. Wendell Willer will be the vocalist.

Pallbearers are Carl Frederick, Lars Larson, Walter Randall, Allen Rumble, Les Drumbarger and Harley Moreland. Mr. and Mrs. James Shontz, Mrs. Dale Ehresman and Mrs. Fred Hawker will be in charge of flowers. Burial will be in the Masonic cemetery.

Mr. Hoon died Aug. 30 at his home in Tipton after a lingering illness.

The son of Lee and Alice Murray Hoon, he was born in Tipton Dec. 10, 1887. He was married to Laura Hite in Dixon, Ill., Oct. 21, 1916. He worked as a grocery clerk and filling station attendant in Tipton.

He is survived by his wife, 2 daughters, Mrs. Glenn (LaVonne) Eaton, Tipton and Mrs. James (Marilyn) Todd, Harlingen, Tex.; 2 sisters, Mrs. Ruth Meyers, Englewood, Calif. and Mrs. Ernest Ochiltree, Tipton and 2 brothers, Everett and Ben Hoon, both of Tipton.
