William F. Marolf, 66, died shortly after noon June 12 at his farm southeast of Wilton Junction. He was a life-long resident of the community.

He was born June 12, 1894, at Lockwood, Mo., son of John P. and Elizabeth Hammerick Marolf. He married Ida Duffe Jan. 27, 1915 at Wilton Junction. He was a member of Zion Lutheran church, Wilton Junction.

Survivors include his wife, two sons, Hilbert W. of Davenport and Kenneth, Wilton Junction; 2 brothers, one sister, Caroline, Wilton Junction; and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, several brothers and sisters and infant daughter.

Funeral services were held June 15 at Zion Lutheran church with the Rev. John B. Nieman officiating. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery.
