Funeral services for Mrs. Valley Virginia Diltz, 92, were held Jan. 17 at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home in Tipton with the Rev. Ralph Adamson in charge. Pallbearers were Hermann Onken, Jack Handley, Arthur Baer, Ralph Wingert, Carr Todd and Ray Potter. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Mrs. Diltz died June 14, in Chicago, Ill., after a lingering illness.

The daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Gordon, she was born Jan. 2, 1869 at Durant and was married to Clarence Diltz in 1891. She was a member of the Methodist church and Pythian sisters.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Ve Gill and Mrs. Zella Jordan and 2 sons, Gordon and Roscoe, all of Chicago, Ill., a step-daughter, Mrs. Eva Silvers, Omaha, Nebr., 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her brothers and sisters.
