Funeral services for Mrs. Ira Johnson were held April 23 at the Methodist church in Mechanicsville, with the Rev. Eugene Miller officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery. She died April 21 at Davenport.

Born Jennie Conner April 13, 1876, at Mechanicsville, she was the daughter of George and Lydia Conner.

She and her husband made their home in Mechanicsville until about 8 years ago when they moved to Davenport.

She is survived by a son, Clifford; 2 grandchildren, Mrs. Melvin Thien, Tipton and Mrs. June Crock, Cedar Rapids; 4 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Ella Conner, Mechanicsville and Mrs. Bert Albaugh, Elkton, S.D.
