Funeral services for Mrs. Luzetta May Gay, 85, were held March 15 at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home with the Rev. Arthur Stratemeyer in charge. Burial was in the Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were Herbert Ford, Lucian Roberts, William Morden, Forest Houghland, Edward Pinell and Gene Sissell. Mrs. Wendell Willer was vocalist and Laura Geller, organist. Mrs. Edward Pinell and Mrs. John Bender were in charge of flowers.

Mrs. Gay died March 12, a week after she suffered a stroke.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elias Witmer, she was born in Cedar county Dec. 28, 1875. She attended the rural schools and was married to Ernest S. Gay Aug. 3, 1891.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lars (Fern) Larson, Tipton and a brother, Charles Witmer, Wilton Junction. She was preceded in death by her husband Dec. 10, 1936, a son and a daughter.
