Funeral services for Asa Byron Swift, 62, were held at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home March 12 with the Rev. Gordon Vickery in charge.

Mr. Swift died March 9 at Stanwood.

He was born in Jackson county Sept. 30, 1898, the son of Edward and Mary Cooley Swift.

He is survived by 3 brothers, Charles, Davenport; Glenn, Cedar Rapids; John, Stanwood; 3 sisters, Mrs. Maude Davis, Compton, Calif.; Mrs. Margaret Hart and Oaka Swift, both of Long Beach, Calif.
