Funeral services for John Albert Miller, 85, retired farmer, were held March 6 at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home with the Rev. A. C. Long in charge. Burial was in the Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were Milo Agne, Oscar Glick, Luther Ailey, Fred Franco, Donald Bahmler and Leonard Soppe. Organ music was by Mrs. Irma Crawford. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Eiler were in charge of flowers.

Mr. Miller died March 4 at the Woode Nursing home. He had been ill for 3 months.

The son of Daniel and Elizabeth Grove Miller, he was born July 13, 1875, at Fort Sumtner, in the rural schools. He was married to Leila B. Mowers Aug. 24, 1894 in Pennsylvania. He had lived in the Tipton-Clarence area since 1902.

He is survived by a son, Roy, Davenport; a daughter, Mrs. Horace (Curvey) Walton, Tipton, a brother, Harvey, Elkhart, Ind.; a half sister, Rhoda Herartzler, Connelsville, Penn. and a granddaughter, Louise Newkirk, Tampa, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his wife Nov. 21, 1929 and an infant daughter.
