Col. Wayne Hunter, 52, brother of Mrs. William Thordsen of Tipton, died at Fort Slocum, N.Y., Sept. 5. He suffered a heart attack while at his desk as head of the army's chaplain school.

Funeral services were held at Fort Meyer, Va., Sept. 8, with burial in Arlington National cemetery. He is survived by 2 sisters, Mrs. Thordsen and Mrs. Lloyd Hockspier, Alta Vista and 2 brothers, Lawrence, Mt. Vernon and Robert, Siouc City.
