Mrs. Eva Fay, 77, a native of Tipton, died Sept. 7 after a long illness at Iowa City, where she had made her home for some time.

Mrs. Fay was born near Tipton Feb. 13, 1883, the daughter of John and Annie Sentman Baker.

She was married to Alfred Anderson in Kansas City, Mo., and he died in 1931. Shortly afterward, she was married to William Fay in Iowa City. He died several years ago.

Mrs. Fay was a member of the First Christian church, Kansas City.

Survivors include 2 brothers, Bert and Edwin Baker, both of Atalissa; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Rittenmeyer, Iowa City; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Funeral services were held Sept. 9 with the Rev. A. C. Hofrichter, pastor of First Christian church officiating. Burial was in Oakland cemetery.
