Ralph Cox, 70, of Iowa City, father of Mrs. Paul Werling and Mrs. Russell Hoskinson of Tipton, died Sunday at his home of a heart attack. He spent his life in Johnson county and had lived in Iowa City for 21 years.

Funeral services were held Aug. 16 in Iowa City, with burial in Oakland cemetery at Iowa City.

Born July 27, 1890, in Union township, Johnson county, he was a son of Aaron and Mary Omsler Cox.
