Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy Margaret McCormick, 81, who died Sunday at her home in Tipton, were held Tuesday in the Presbyterian church. The Rev. Howard Dukelow was in charge. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Mrs. McCormick was the widow of A. M. McCormick, a furniture dealer and funeral director in Tipton before his death 10 years ago. Mrs. McCormick had lived in Tipton 54 years.

Lucy Margaret Dysart, daughter of Cornelius and Elizabeth Dysart, was born in Granville, Ill., July 19, 1875, one of nine children. She attended the Granville schools and Teachers college at Normal, Ill. She taught school for several years in Putnam county, Illinois.

In 1904 she was married to Andrew M. McCormick. They were the parents of three children, Elizabeth, who died in infancy; Dysart, who died at 20, and Mrs. Martha Jane Henry, Tipton.

Mrs. McCormick was a member of the Tipton Presbyterian church since 1904 and was active in church activities. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Women's Relief Corps, the Helping Hand Rebekah lodge and the Order of Eastern Star. She had served the Rebekah lodge as Noble Grand and the Eastern Star as Worthy Matron.

She is survived by her daughter and four brothers, J. W. Dysart, Deer River, Minn., the Rev. John Dysart, Temple, Texas, Leslie C. and Howard L. Dysart, Granville, Ill.
