Mrs. Ellen Olson, 86, a former Lowden resident, died instantly when the car in which she was riding rolled over twice on a gravel road two miles east of Lost Nation. The accident occurred at 4:45 p.m. Sunday.

Mrs. Olson was riding in a car driven by her son, George, of Calamus, with whom she had been making her home. Mrs. Betty Goodnow, Mrs. Olson's daughter and also a former Lowden resident, received back injuries in the crash.

In addition to her son and daughter who were in the crash, she is survived by another son, Clarence, of Oxford, and four grandchildren.,
