Graveside services were held Saturday, July 14, for John Charles Soper, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. LaVern Soper, Clarence, at Evangelical cemetery in Clarence. The Rev. N. S. Roberts, Lowden, officiated.

The baby was born at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, Thursday, July 12.

He is survived by his parents, a sister, Marcia Elaine, a brother, Jerry Arnold; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Meier, Tipton, and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Soper, Anamosa.
