Funeral services for Mrs. Amelia Hass, 84, were held Monday at the Frick funeral home in Durant. Burial was in Durant cemetery.

Mrs. Hass died Thursday at the Thurston nursing home in Tipton.

She was born near New Liberty March 15, 1872 and was married to John Hass Feb. 17, 1894 in Davenport. The couple farmed near Bennett until Mr. Hass's death in 1904.

She is survived by two sons, George and Harvey, Durant; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
