Services for David A. Burrows, 74, retail lumber and fuel dealer, were held May 29 at Wilton Junction.

The Rev. Hugh P. Roberts of the Presbyterian church officiated. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery.

Mr. Burrows who had continued the operation of his business during his illness, died at his home May 26. He was treasurer emeritus, past master and a 50-year member of Wilton Junction lodge; a member of the Presbyterian church, Zarephath lodge and Kaaba Shrine, Davenport; was first president of the Wilton Junction Lions club; served on the O.P.A. board during World War II; had been a member of the Wilton Junction town council and was active in business at Wilton Junction since 1905.

Born in Milan, Ill., April 30, 1882, Mr. Burrows had resided in Wilton Junction since childhood. He never married.

Surviving are two sisters, Olive A. Burrows and Mrs. Ella Brown, both of Wilton Junction.
