Mr. and Mrs. John Hoffner mourn the death of their eldest child, Mary, aged thirteen years and eighteen days, which occurred last Sunday about noon. She had been ill a long time, but was thought to be recovering up to a few days ago, when she took a relapse with the fatal result as stated. The funeral occurred Monday after noon from the house, Rev. Bander, of Lowden, officiating, followed by interment in the cemetery here.
