Stanwood, Iowa, Dec. 19--The funeral of Mrs. Esther Gardner was held Saturday afternoon at Clarence conducted by Rev. S. S. Smith and Rev. C. W. Cleveland. She lived many years in Stanwood and was a member of the Methodist church at this place. She was 83 years old. Ed and William Gardner and Mrs. O. Dillon with their families of this place were in attendance.
