Services for Mrs. F. H. Simmert, 59, Boone, who died Saturday at Iowa Methodist hospital, Des Moines, after several months illness, were held Tuesday in Boone.

The body was brought to the home of her son, Duane Buttleman, at Lowden. A prayer service was held in the Buttleman home Wednesday. Burial was in Lowden cemetery.

The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Lafferty, Lowden, she was reared in the Lowden community.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Dale Buttleman of Cedar Rapids, and Duane; a brother, Ray Lafferty, Iowa City, and seven grandchildren.
