Services were held Friday at the Durant chapel for Mrs. Meta Schneckloth, 52, lifetime resident of Durant, who died Sept. 10 at Mercy hospital, Davenport, following an extended illness. Burial was in the Durant cemetery.

Mrs. Schneckloth was born Feb. 8, 1905, at Durant, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Reimers. She was married to LeRoy Schneckloth June 16, 1926, at Davenport. She was a member of the Durant Women's club and of Henrietta Camp No. 4617, Royal Neighbors of America.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Frederick Schneckloth, San Diego, Calif.; her father; three brothers, Herman Reimers, Iron River, Mich., Edward Reimers, Wilton Junction, and Rudolph Reimers, Davenport; one sister, Mrs. William Thede, Roswell, N.M.; and one grandson, Michael Schneckloth.

Her mother and one brother preceded her in death.
