Mrs. Thad Stevens, 68, died July 16 at her home in Stanwood. Funeral services were held Friday in Clarence. The Rev. Don Campbell officiated. Burial was in the Stanwood cemetery.

The former Mae Hollister was born Nov. 22, 1888 at Blue Mounds, Wis. She was married to Thad Stevens in 1917 at Denison.

Survivors are the husband; one son, Thad Jr., Stanwood; one daughter, Mrs. Charles King, Marshalltown; two brothers, C. C. and John Hollister, both of Omaha, Neb.; five sisters, a twin, Mrs. Faye Mefferd, Santa Cruz, Calif.; Mrs. Netting Bong and Mrs. Carabell Johnson, Omaha, Nebr.; Mrs. Vella Leech, Los Angeles and Minnie Hollister, Blue Mounds, Wis.
