Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Trinity Lutheran church at Lowden for Mrs. Minnie Rudnick, 84, who died at 11:30 p.m. July 15 in St. Luke's hospital, Davenport, following an illness of several months. The Rev. Theo. J. Eickelberg will officiate and burial will be in the Lutheran cemetery.

Born Feb. 20, 1873, on a farm northwest of Lowden, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kroeger. She attended rural and Trinity day schools. She was married Feb. 20, 1895, to Albert Rudnick in Lowden.

The couple farmed for many years near Gray, later retiring to Gray where Mr. Rudnick died. Mrs. Rudnick lived in Gray for 62 years until last fall when she came to Lowden to make her home.

She was a life-long member of the Lutheran church, Missouri synod.

She is survived by a step-daughter, Mrs. Hattie Raebel of Manning, four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Dora Schloemer of Lowden, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two step-daughters.
