21 November 1957 - The Tipton Conservative

A heart attack, suffered early Tuesday morning, is believed to have caused the death of Robert N. Helm, 44, of Stanwood. Helm was found dead in his bed at the home of Mrs. Gene Rhoads in Stanwood, where he roomed.

Helm's body was discovered by another roomer, Brose Mixell, about 10:30 a.m., after Helm had failed to report for work at the Ready Mix plant.

Authorities said they thought Helm had been dead since about 2 a.m. The body was taken to Cedar Rapids for an autopsy.

He is survived by a son, Bob, Atalissa; three brothers, Bill Mechanicsville, Glenn, Chicago, Ill., and Howard, Cedar Rapids, and his father, J. H. Helm, in Chicago, Ill.
