Funeral services for Mrs. George Jorgenson, 65, Lowden, were held Saturday in the Zion Evangelical and Reformed church with the Rev. N. S. Roberts officiating. Burial was in the Lowden cemetery.
Mrs. Jorgenson died March 27 in St. Luke's Hospital, Davenport, where she had been a patient since March 23.
The former Elizabeth Dorothy Gienap was born Sept. 27, 1891, near Clarence, and was married Nov. 14, 1912, to George Jorgenson. She was a member of Zion Evangelical and Reformed church.
Surviving are the husband; three sons, Dale I. Jorgenson, Davenport; Clarence, Manhattan, Ill., and Everett of Missouri; four daughters, Dorothy of Chicago, Ill.; Jean, Davenport; Mrs. Vernon Shedek, Oxford Junction, and Mrs. Virgil Ramsey, Davenport; two brothers, Herman Gienap of California and Carl, Plymouth, Mich.; four sisters, Mrs. John Gottschalk and Mrs. Walter Peterson, both of Ft. Dodge; Mrs. Lawrence Harrington, Clinton, and Mrs. Lena Farquaharson, Alberta, Canada, and 17 grandchildren.
