Services for Mrs. Waldo Roehlk, 45, who died in her home in Durant Tuesday after a long illness, will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in Durant chapel. Burial will be in the cemetery at Durant.
Born July 12, 1911, in Scott county, the former Carma Goettsch was wed to Waldo Roehlk March 11, 1930, in Davenport. They farmed near Bennett and West Liberty six years before moving to Durant. Mrs. Roehlk was of Lutheran faith.
Surviving are the husband; a son, William G. of Steamboat Rock; a daughter, Eloise, Moline, Ill.; six sisters, Mrs. Ella Schneckloth, Durant, Caroline and Vera Goettsch, Mrs. Frank Paustian and Mrs. Viola Fromm, all of Davenport, and Mrs. William Schneckloth, Wilton Junction, and a brother, Emil Goettsch, Stockton.
