Funeral services for Mrs. C. A. Little, 83, formerly of Tipton, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Peterseim-Dye funeral home in Tipton, with burial in Red Oak cemetery.

Mrs. Little died Friday in a nursing home at Duarte, Calif. Her husband died in February.

Rosa Ann Collar, daughter of Jesse B. and Anna Mayer Collar, was born in Muscatine county March 19, 1874, and was the last of a family of six children. When she was 9 she went with her parents to Kansas in a covered wagon, where her mother and father spent the summer improving a timber claim.

A few years later the family moved to California where they lived for three years before returning to Iowa and Cedar county.

She was married to Charles A. Little in Stanwood May 26, 1896, and they made their home in the Red Oak community until they retired from farming, later moving to California.

She is survived by three children: Mrs. Gerald A. Crispin, Tipton; Frank J. Little, South San Gabriel, Calif., and Glenn E. Little, St. Paul, Minn.; five grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Little was a member of the Red Oak Grove Presbyterian church for more than 50 years and was a charter member of the Red Oak Grove Kings' Daughters circle.

Mr. and Mrs. Little celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in May, 1956, with an open house at the Crispin Party House, with most of their family present.

Mrs. Little was an ardent flower lover and was also very fond of needlework. During the past year she pieced a quilt for each of her grandchildren.
