George A. Jensen, 68, retired Cedar county farmer, died suddenly Dec. 15 at his home in West Branch following a heart attack.

He was born Oct. 13, 1891, at Rochester, the son of Lars and Laura Hansen Jensen.

June 24, 1914, he was married at West Branch to Miss Agnes Pedersen.

Mr. Jensen was a member of Bethany Lutheran church at West Branch.

Survivors include the widow; one son, Robert L. Jensen, Iowa City; 3 brothers, Fred, Ted and Carl Jensen, and 3 sisters, Mrs. Carrie Hansen, Mrs. Lillie Christensen and Mrs. Viola Forsgren, all of whom reside in California; and 4 grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents and 2 brothers.

Funeral services were held Dec. 18 at Bethany Lutheran church, with the Rev. L. A. Kirkegard officiating.
