Funeral services for Mrs. George J. Burwinkle, 80, were held Nov. 25 at St. Mary's Catholic church in Mechanicsville. The Rev. P. J. Casey was in charge. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.

She died Nov. 22 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rose Shrope where she had made her home for 3 years.

Mrs. Burwinkle was born at West Point Feb. 13, 1879. She is survived by her husband, 3 daughters, Mrs. Rose Shrope, Mechanicsville; Mrs. Leon Spratte, Rochester, Minn., and Mrs. Hedwige Gorup, Baldwin Park, Calif., and a son Vincent, Cedar Rapids
