Funeral services for Freeman Mason were held Nov. 16 at the Methodist church in Mechanicsville with the Rev. Eugene Miller in charge. Burial was in the Masonic cemetery at Tipton.

He died Nov. 14 at his home in Mechanicsville.

Mr. Mason was born Jan. 29, 1884 at Olin, the son of Charles and Jane Holden Mason. He is survived by his wife, the former Carrie Josty of Hale, a son, Howard, Lisbon; a daughter, Doris, Rock Island, Ill.; 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a sister Mrs. Minnie Pieters, Merrill, Wis.
