Services for Alfred Peters, 69, resident of Durant for the past 16 years who died Monday, will be Thursday (today) at 2 p.m. in St. Paul's Episcopal church at Durant. Burial will be in the Durant cemetery.

Born near Sunbury, he married Johanna Wendel Feb. 14, 1917. She died in 1931. He married Vera Fowler March 15, 1933, in Davenport. She preceded him in death in 1942. He wed Mattie Holcomb April 25, 1944. She died in 1945.

Survivors include a son, Alfred Peters, Durant; a daughter, Mrs. Wayne Lincoln, Durant; 4 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mrs. Anna Steffen, Midlothian, Ill., Mrs. Amanda Schneider, Muscatine, and Hilda Sebelien, Durant.
