George R. McCoy, 48, of Wilton Junction died Sunday at the University hospitals in Iowa City. He suffered a heart attack earlier in the day.

He was born Aug. 31, 1910, in Cedar county and was a life-long resident of the Wilton community. He never married.

Surviving are three brothers, Kenneth and Robert of Wilton Junction, and Joe, Muscatine, and his mother.

Funeral services were held Tuesday in Wilton Junction. Burial will be at the Lime City cemetery.
