William M. Port, 89, died at his home in Wilton Junction Friday, Jan. 16. He was born March 22, 1869, in Cedar county, Iowa. Mr. Port resided at Wilton for the past 54 years.

He married Minnie Wagner at Wilton Junction. He was a member of the Wilton Junction Presbyterian church.

Survivors include two sons, Clyde W. Port, Rock Island and Theodore Port, Altedena, Calif., one daughter, Mrs. Ruby Solbrig, Marengo. Nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, one brother and one son.

Funeral services were held Monday in Wilton Junction.
