Mrs. Maggie Paustian, 69, Davenport, died May 15 after an extended illness. She was born in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, and came to this country as an infant. She was married to James J. Paustian in Davenport and he preceded her in death. They farmed north of Durant.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Eldie Gehrls, Wilton Junction, Mrs. Elmer Gehrls, New Liberty, Mrs. Velmar Wood, Stanwood, and Mrs. Lawrence Dryer, Davenport; three sons, Alvin and James, both of Durant, and Louis, Davenport; 14 grandchildren, and three brothers, Johannes and Albert Wolf, both of Durant, and Thomas Wolf of Milwaukee, Wis.

Services were held Saturday with burial in the Durant cemetery.
