Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Reeves, 74, Davenport, who died Sunday after a 13-month illness, in a Davenport hospital, will be held at 10:30 this morning in Clarence. The Rev. James Paoste, pastor of St. Mark's Episcopal church, Maquoketa, will officiate. Burial will be in the Lowden cemetery.

The former Josephine Stebbin was born Feb. 3, 1884, in New Haven, Conn., daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles William Stebbin. She was married July 13, 1912, in Putman, Conn., to Richard Reeves. For the past several years she has done practical nursing in Davenport. She recently completed her 35th year as a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, was an honorary member of the Amvets Auxiliary in Davenport and a life member of the Episcopal church.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. W. R. (Emily) Mensing, a granddaughter, Ruth Ann Mensing, and three nephews.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband and a sister.
