Funeral services for Frank W. O'Hara, who died at Knoxville Tuesday, will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's church in Tipton with burial in the Catholic cemetery. Rosary will be at the Sheets & Dahn funeral home at 8:15 p.m. today (Thursday).

Frank W. (Shanty) O'Hara, 68, died Dec. 3 at Veterans hospital in Des Moines where he had been a patient for about 25 years. Funeral services were held Friday in St. Mary's Catholic church, with burial in the Catholic cemetery.

O'Hara was born in Chicago, Ill., in 1889. He was a veteran of World War I, enlisting from Tipton July 22, 1918, and serving overseas from Nov. 13, 1918 to Aug. 25, 1919, in the bakery company of the 112th quartermaster company.

His only known survivor is a brother, Joseph P. O'Hara, congressman from the first Minnesota district, in southwest Minnesota.
