Mrs. Fred T. Challis of Tipton has received word of the death of her brother, Leonard N. Barclay, of Chilliwack, B. C. Mr. Barclay was born in Cedar county, April 5, 1877, and passed away Sept. 28th, 1955.

He farmed south of Tipton before moving to Canada. Those who survive him are two sons, a daughter, and five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. W. H. Larrison of Mitchell, S. D., and Mrs. F. T. Challis of Tipton; and one brother, A. L. Barclay, Decorah, Iowa.
