Mrs. Frank Randall received word last week that her nephew, Charles Clements, of Valentine, Neb., was struck by lightning and killed at 4:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, July 16.

He was twenty-three years old, the elder son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Clements, formerly of this place. He was a young farmer, and is survived by his wife and a two year old daughter; also his parents and one brother, Lawrence.
