DIED On the 2d inst., JONATHAN CROZER, of lung fever, in the 56th year of his age.

He was born in Ohio, and lived there until 1852, when he moved to Cedar county, Iowa. He was married to Phebe S. James previous to leaving Ohio. They had two children--a son and daughter. All feel the loss of a husband and father who was almost unprecedented for kindness and affection; a good friend and neighbor, that will be missed by all. The funeral took place on the 4th, and was attended by a large concourse of acquaintances and friends, at Hickory Grove. As the bereavement is great, we have the assurance that our loss in his eternal gain.
