MRS. LIBBIE A. KELLOGG was born July 9, 1853, at Leroy, Genesee county, New York. Married July 3, 1873, to Mr. J. F. Kellogg, moved to Iowa two years ago last June; resided at Tipton a little more than one year, from which place they moved to West Branch where she died Aug. 27th, 1881.

She was converted in the meetings held in the M.E. church last winter. She was to have been taken into full communion in the church on the day in which she was buried. Received she was, but in the church Triumphant rather than in the church Militant. She did not expect to get well when first taken sick; but could say the Lord's will be done. She desired to say a few words to her husband, but her voice failed her when the time came and she only spoke to him by the silent tears that ran down her cheeks.
