Paul Henry Weber, son of Henry and Alice Weber, was born near Tipton, August 12, 1906, and died at Mercy hospital at Iowa City June 3rd, 1921, at the age of 14 years, 9 months and 22 days.

December 10, 1906, he moved with his parents to Tipton, where they remained until February 23, 1911, when the family again removed to the farm one and a half miles north of Tipton, living there until February 25, 1921, the family again moving to Tipton.

Paul had always been well and strong until a few days before his death, when he was attacked by appendicitis. He was operated on at Mercy hospital, Iowa City, on Decoration day.

Paul started to attend Sunday school at the Reformed church at the age of 4 years, and was still a member of that school at the time of his death. His former Sunday school classmates who acted as pallbearers were: Lewis Bolton, Forest Busier, William Butterbrodt, William Brown, Ralph Funk and Edwin Willer.

He leaves to mourn his loss his parents and one brother, Verne; his aged grandparents and a large number of aunts, uncles and cousins. Four aunts and two uncles from Pomeroy, Ohio, came to attend the funeral. Rev. J. N. Naly, former pastor of the Reformed church, officiated at the funeral.
