The death of Mrs. George Johnson occurred at her home two miles east of town at an early hour Tuesday morning, following a stroke of paralysis.

Mrs. Johnson was an invalid for some time and has not made as many acquaintances in the few years since they moved here from Kansas as she would had her health been perfect. To many, she will be better known by her maiden name of Ella H. Lawrence.

Surviving are her husband and five children, Louis V., Lawrence, Earl, Clara and Carline. Funeral services are being held at 11 o'clock today at Hickory Grove meeting house; interment in the Hickory Grove cemetery.
