DIED--Sunday afternoon, June 14th, 1896, after an illness of only a few days of congestion of the liver, Anna, aged 10 years, daughter of Charles C. Gruwell. Her death occurred at the home of her grandmother, Lydia Oliphant, where she and her older sister have made their home for several years.

The funeral services were held Tuesday, attended by a large number of friends. Her late teacher, Miss Candace Maxson, with all the pupils of the second primary department that were available, attended in a body.
