Orlando Campbell, 60 years of age, died at his home four miles north of West Branch at 1:10 o'clock Sunday morning, about 43 hours after his son Hayden had discovered his apparently lifeless body swinging from the end of a rope in the basement of their home.

Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Campbell, their son Hayden and family and another son, Leslie, lived together in the home. Mr. Campbell had gone to the basement early Friday morning and there his son Hayden made the shocking discovery.

Every effort was made to resuscitate him, but he never regained consciousness, dying on Sunday morning as stated above. Ill health is given as the probable cause for the suicide.

Mr. Campbell is survived by his widow and two sons, Hayden and Leslie.

Funeral services were held from the home at 1:00 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, Rev. A. A. Pettenger of West Branch officiating. The Masonic Lodge had charge of the service at the grave.
