Harry Vincent passed away at Pasadena, Calif., at noon Monday. The body is being shipped to West Branch for burial. Funeral arrangements have not been definitely made although it is probable the services will be held Saturday afternoon.

Particulars concerning the cause of Mr. Vincent's death have not yet been received.

Harry Vincent was born in Monroe county, Missouri, Dec. 18, 1856, and died at Pasadena, Calif., Jan. 4, 1926, aged 69 years, 15 days. When a small boy he came to Iowa with his parents, and settled in Cedar county. Here at the age of twenty he was united in marriage to Anna A. Thompson, who preceded him in death on April 21, 1912. To this union were born ten children, one of whom died in infancy, and one, Mrs. Hazel Scellars, who died in 1921.

In 1916, he removed to California, where one year later he was united in marriage to Mrs. Hulda Bell.

He leaves to mourn his loss his widow, Mrs. Hulda Vincent; three sons and five daughters, James T. of West Branch, Walter H. of Pasadena and Harlan A. of Cedar Bluff; Mrs. Louella Sailor of Cedar Bluff, Mrs. Leora Sailor of Manilla, Mrs. Flossie Sponey and Mrs. Madge Straube of Racine, Wis., and Mrs. Hannah Cooper of Miami, Florida, all of whom were here to attend the funeral except Mrs. Hannah Cooper. He also leaves four brothers and three sisters, sixteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Most of his life was spent on a farm near West Branch, except for a few years which he spent in Calhoun county. He was a member of the Friends church of West Branch, which he joined in 1911. He was a kind father to his children and leaves many friends both here and in California.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the Friends church, conducted by Rev. Clyde Roberts. Interment in the West Branch cemetery.

Following is a clipping from the Pasadena Post of Jan. 5th: Harry Vincent, a resident of Pasadena for the last 10 years, passed away at his residence, 775 North Fair Oaks avenue, yesterday afternoon. Mr. Vincent was 69 years of age and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hulda Vincent, and eight children, a granddaughter, Mrs. Jack Saggau of Los Angeles, and 15 other grandchildren living in the east. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 3 o'clock from the chapel of Reynolds & Eberle, corner of Fair Oaks avenue and Union street. The body will be taken to West Branch, Iowa, accompanied by Water H. Vincent, where interment will take place,
