DIED. PRESTON. At his home, two miles north of Springdale, May 18th, 1894, of consumption, Edgar Preston, aged forty-two years.

Deceased was born in Columbiana Co., Ohio, April 25th, 1852, and was the son of Jonathan and Jane Preston. Early in life he was baptized into the Christian faith from which belief he never departed, expressing toward the end a desire to enter into that rest prepared for the children of God.

Mr. Preston was a most unassuming man, possessed of a good moral character and had the faculty of attaching to himself the friendship of those around him. He leaves a sorrowing mother, two sisters, a brother and other friends who have the sympathy of the community in their affliction. The funeral services and interment took place at Springdale the day following his death and was largely attended.
