29 October 1901 - The Tipton Advertiser

Wm. Burr Robbie died October 27, 1901, aged 14 years, 6 months and 14 days.

After nearly five weeks of sickness, he succumbed to a complication of troubles arising from typhoid fever.

His parents brought him from Scotland in March, 1894, when he was nearly seven years of age. He is survived by his mother, three brothers and two sisters, the eldest of whom is married to D. Campen of Tipton. His father was laid to rest in January of this year.

Willie was a very promising boy, truthful, hearty, strong and full of energy, always faithful to duty and ever ready to help were needed.

As the youngest child he was much loved and his loss is much felt by the surviving members of the family. The bereaved relatives have the deep sympathy of their many friends. He was buried Tuesday afternoon with services at the house conducted by Rev. S. Conybeare.
