November 21, 1878 - West Branch Local Record

DIED Thomas Reeves, of Heart Disease, on Saturday morning, at about 8 o'clock. Buried at West Branch at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Mr. Reeves was apparently well that morning and after doing his chores went into the house and sat down, where he soon after dropped dead from his chair.
