Carl Babb, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Babb, was born Oct. 3, 1909, died Feb. 15, 1913, aged 3 years, 3 months and 12 days.

The funeral was held at the North Liberty school house, Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Ernest L. Gregory , pastor of the Springdale Friends church. Interment in the North Liberty cemetery.

The death of litle Carl Babb, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Babb, was received by the neighborhood as a shock. Carl was a bright little boy three and one-half years of age. His demise has left a vacant chair in the home of his parents and a missing link in the chain of childhood of the neighborhood.

The little 3-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. D. Babb, north of Springdale, died Saturday and was interred in the cemetery at West Liberty Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Greenway attended the funeral. Mrs. Babb is a sister of Mrs. Greenway.
